  1. Lynn (Linda Smith)
    (President) Lynn was one of the only woman-owned transportation company to provide transportation during Super Bowl XLIV 2010, in Miami Gardens, FL. She purchased her first investment property at the age of 21; (a duplex) and continues to invest through out her adult life. With her background in Business Administration, Hospitality, Stenography and Accounting, after becoming an independent consultant in 2010; Buy Black Economics movement was born. Lynn created it to help her community economically organize. The first project developed by this organization is BBNomics the only Black crowdfunding site, soon after many more initiatives were developed and privately financed to help our community organize.
  2. Tokie Brown
    (Treasurer) Tokie Brown is an associate member of International Network of Traditional Building Architecture & Urbanism (INTBAU), Construction Industry of Builders (CIOB) in Ireland, Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologist (CIAT) UK and UK-Green Building Council. A contributing Member on the ISCCL and represents Nigeria on ICOMOS-IFLA. Tokie also works as Conservation Environmental Architectural Technologist and Cultural Economist with Merging Ecologies. Founder of Women Fund Homes UK and Ireland. A Joint PhD research in Economics and Techniques in the Conservation of Architectural and Environmental Heritage with the University of Nova Gorica and Universita Iuav di Venezia in Italy.
  3. Jon Perez
    (Trader/Secretary) Jon Perez a proud family man of six, I always wanted to be part of an investment group that represented my interest and the interests of my people collectively. I have a degree in Art and Design from Community College of Phila. Creator of a sole proprietorship business, Adinkra Studio, a creative arts concept for fashion apparel. Art & fashion are my life's goal. I've also done theater, as a hobby, for 10 years, doing stage plays, stage design and directing. ​I am currently employed by the school district of Philadelphia servicing children from k-12. Active in my community for most of my adult life I've enjoyed supporting black initiatives. A member of several political and cultural organisations up until recently, I've been socially and culturally active for over 30 years giving my time and money to various political, social and cultural organisations and movements. I am now focusing on Black economic empowerment. I have traveled the world seeking experiences pertaining to my culture as well as my history. I've been to such places as Egypt, Haiti, Puerto Rico, & Barbados just to name a few. As I continue on my quest I am committed to the uplifting of African & African American communities by empowering and expressing our cultural strengths.
  4. Kaneshia Lovick
    (Alternative Investments) Kaneshia Lovick has been an educator for the Atlanta Public School System, since 2010 and specializes in working with children with learning disabilities. Ms. Lovick has earned her Bachelors of Science in Social Work, from Thomas University and a Masters of Arts in Teaching from Walden University. Currently, Ms. Lovick is working on several projects within the local community and several business ventures. Ms. Lovick resides with her family in the Atlanta, Georgia area.
  5. Jason V. Holmes
    (Alternative Investments) Jason V. Holmes is a New Orleans native, 9 years international traveler, and Entrepreneur. He dropped out of college for his Electrical Engineering degree to get a overseas job in 2008. Once Jason obtain the job of an Engineering Technician the company sent him to his first location Tokyo, Japan in 2008. Since then, Jason has lived in 4 and traveled to 8 countries. Jason is currently living in S. Korea where he works on several business ventures.
  6. Lynette Johnson
    (Assistant Secretary) Lynette Johnson is the co-owner of DELANE DEVELOPMENTS LLC, a real estate and property management company. Lynette has been working in the field of counseling and social work for 20 years. Lynette has a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice, a Master's Degree in Human Services with a specialization in Clinical Counseling. Lynette has recently become an member and investor with BBEIG and also acts as assistant secretary for BBEIG.
  7. Deidra Cade
    (Community Service) Deidra Cade, is a research scientist, budding entrepreneur and investor (BBE Investment Group member).
